Recruitment

In the time ahead, it will be challenging for the industry to recruit enough labor with qualifications in the most important technological disciplines. Det norske has a long-standing collaboration with schools, university colleges, universities and business and industry – especially in Northern Norway. This involves supporting apprentices, lectures, tuition and, not least, certification of companies in collaboration with the Verftsringen trade association in Northern Norway. Last year, we extended this scope to include geology classes at upper secondary school level, and more targeted information to the students’ associations at the Norwegian Institute of Science and Technology (NTNU). 

Professional development

Willingness to cooperate, sharing of information and knowledge, and continuous improvement shall constitute essential elements of our work and way of thinking. The company shall ensure participation and utilization of knowledge in all processes through assigning responsibility to each individual employee.
