|Pertra Honoured by Visit from the Minister of Petroleum and Energy|

The Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Thorild Widvey, visited Pertra Monday 22 August, accompanied by three of her advisers from the Ministry and three local politicians from the Conservative Party.
25 people is presently working in Pertra, predominantly with the APA 2005 Round, and the Minister’s tour on the premises demonstrated Pertra’s ability to utilize the capacity of software and databases provided by the service industry.
During her visit, the Minister seized the opportunity to express her unreserved support to Pertra and to other small companies in the oil industry. ”Pertra is an exciting addition to the Norwegian oil industry. We need more companies like Pertra”, the Minister declared. “It seems to be the Government’s policy to continue the efforts to increase diversity on the Norwegian Shelf, and I am confident that we and other smaller companies that can demonstrate value creation will get many opportunities in the years to come,” Erik Haugane stated.
